Theme: desolation. wind causes physical, emotional, psychological destruction
1. winds cause complete destruction to furniture etc
2. causes paul and ellen to argue about the isolation
3. causes ellen to go to extremes because she feels all is lost

The Charmer - Budge Wilson

Theme: Manipulation. don't judge a book by its cover
1. Zachary Portrays this by manipulating with his looks to get what he wants (cake, forgiveness for the car and toolbox)
2. caused Lizzie to be under false impression of Zachary's perfection. idolized. manipulated by zach
3. revealed his true nature when his father decided to finally discipline him

2. although may create crimeless "utopia", creativity lacking.
